Internet Inspiration

So, the air is getting cooler and reading week has just commenced for university students far and wide. The perfect chance to sit back, relax and take in what you've just learnt over the last few weeks. I kid, of course-it's to catch up on reading and do some precious uni work ;).

What will I be doing this week?! You may ask. Well, nothing too exciting... just essay plans, partying, bowling and the odd event! But more on that later.

Anyway, the purpose of this post is to advertise a website I have recently found whilst browsing on-line through boredom. I am a sucker for pretty images, inspirational quotes and beautiful photos. I found a website called "We Heart It" and it was so easy to set up an account and start collecting my favourite images! It's a lot of fun, and I feel when I need some inspiration, I just log onto the site.

Does anyone else use "We Heart It"?

What other sites inspire you?

I shall leave you with some pictures from the site!

Have a lovely Friday.

Plan B - Ill Manors

"Every action has a reaction."

Once again, Ben Drew has managed to turn something grotty into something beautifully creative.

Ben Drew also known as the famous lyricalist "Plan B" has created a heart stopping, realistic portrayal of the dark side of life. Full of action, and hard truth, I was gripped throughout this film and despite the dark side I thoroughly enjoyed it. From the moment it started, I was transported to underclass Britain full of drugs, gangs and individual life stories. The film is extremely realistic, and is narrated throughout by the expert, Plan B himself. If there was any point he was trying to put across- he has done it. And amazingly well at that.

Follow the lives of people who have had the misfortune of contracting drug habits and getting into the wrong crowd, as you will be narrated through a well written and thought out film. I was amazed at how every character had such importance to the overall story, and everyone was linked somehow. It was extremely well thought out, and the soundtrack was catchy and really well written. The music set the mood of the different scenes, as it snaked through life linking situation and actions together. I would even go as far to say it had a feel of "musical meets realism".

This movie had everything I enjoyed in it. Realism, a good story line, action, and passion. It also educated me, and although I realize the whole London Gangster scene was "dramatized"; I feel Ben Drew has really got his point across. This side of life does exist.

Grab your popcorn and watch with an open mind. It's one not to be missed.

Ha-Ha-Ha-Halloweener

Halloween is fast approaching. It is the perfect excuse to dress up, have some fun and tell some crazy ghost stories. Whilst browsing online on one of my favorite online retailers, www.newlook.co.uk, I came across a range of Halloween costumes which are exclusive to online purchases. These outfits are really cute in my opinion, ready made, and not your typical "black bin liner  Halloween fashion. I have fallen in love with all of them. Sadly, Halloween is only one night of the year, so choose wisely. I have picked some of my favourites to show you!

Last year on Halloween I had several parties to attend to got to dress up in many different costumes. I really do love fancy dress, it gives you a chance to be someone else for the night and possibly wear something a little out there and crazy. Why not get your friends round and serve scary cocktails filled with jelly worms, and maybe even have a prize for the best costume?

The potentional is endless at this time of year.

As well as that, New Look has some really hot winter fashion out at the moment. The prices won't break your bank, and everything is really well made and true to size. Go on and treat yourself!

My personal Top Tips for Morning haters!

I am not a big fan of early mornings. At night, I am wide awake and can't seem to sleep, but when the morning comes around it's a completely different story and I am literally super glued to my bed.Why is bed so much more comfy in the morning? Especially cold October mornings!

Anyhow, seeing as I am trying to complete a degree, I cannot hide forever in a dreamy slumber whilst the morning runs away from me. It's just not going to happen. Luckily for me, I only have one really early start a week so I can't complain! However, when I start working as well as studying, I am going to have to manage my time better.

What are your tips for waking up in the morning? What gives you that lift? How do you start your day? Sorry for all the questions, but I am always looking for tips and tricks on the subject of being an early birdie.

- Set your alarm an hour before you plan on waking up. I have a habit of hitting the snooze button a few times before I actually wake up. It makes me feel like I am having a "lay in".
- Make sure there is water by the side of your bed. This is not to chuck over oneself, but I always find drinking first thing wakes me up a bit.
- Pump out the tunes! I always turn my iTunes on. High energy songs are great!
- Start your morning routine.
- Coffee or tea it! :D

Be strict with yourself!

Once you are in a routine, it gets easier... and hell, you can actually get a lot done during the morning so your day feels more productive!

Hope everyone is well.

I am busy studying, reading for university and generally enjoying life.

Smile :),
